Going Down to Barrys

Barry's provided Clare with the materials for her sculptures for many years for her "You Are Here' project she undertook a micro-residency at A3 in which the fabric warehouse bacame a focus of attention in itself. Responding to the site, context and materials of A3 and Barry's Clare worked between the two spaces.
Researching decoration, drapery and pattern against an industrial backdrop of workshops, factory units and functional interiors, invited a range of makers, historians and curators to respond to her enquiry as she tests out sculptural/installation elements in the project space.
